DESCRIPTION
The AKJ* are circulating type cooling units with inverter-controlled compressor, for lubricating oils and mineral oil-based fluids. The Daikin original IPM motor compressor allows high performances in terms of energy-saving. Power consumption can be checked on the control panel.
The AKJ* oil cooling units are to be placed on the coolant tank. A cooling coil immersed in the fluid cools it.
These chillers can control the temperature in these ways:
- Set the fluid temperature according to the ambient temperature or to the machine temperature
- Hold the temperature of the fluid constant in the tank
An autotuning function that automatically sets the control gain according to the system installed (tank oil volume, piping, etc.) reduces adjustment time significantly at the trial run.
The AKJ oil cooling units are perfect in applications that demand a strict control of the temperature of hydraulic fluids and coolant fluids, such as milling centers, NC lathes, gearbox lubricants, grinders, electrical discharge machining, molding machines, presses, etc.
